Spirit Station Competition | Amway River Bank Run

The Amway River Bank Run offers something for everyone! Currently recruiting 10 of the most spirited school cheer squads, dance teams, pep bands, other school/alumni and non-profit groups to compete in the Spirit Station Competition! Dare to dream and be a part of assisting race participants in their quest for the finish line through upbeat music, routines, signs and themes

If selected, your group will be assigned a station along the 15.5 mile race course. You are encouraged to bring as many people and provide as much music, props, etc. to provide the motivation and excitement necessary to be selected by participants as one of the top three groups competing for the following scholarships:

1st Place -- $500
2nd Place -- $300
3rd Place -- $200

Waiver

By signing this Waiver and Release, I am registering myself or someone else to participate in or volunteer for the 2024 Amway River Bank Run 25K, 25K Two Hour Club,10K, 5K Run, 5K Walk, or Amway Junior event (collectively, the “Event”). I am of 18 years of age or older and, if registering for someone else, I am the parent, legal guardian, or properly authorized agent for the person I am registering. If I am registering someone else to participate in the 25K portion of the Event, I warrant that the person will be at least 14 years of age on the day of the Event. For myself, and on behalf of anyone else I have registered for the Event, my (and their) heirs, executors, administrators, trustees, and assigns, I agree as follows: (A) I understand that participating in or volunteering for the Event may be hazardous, and I warrant that I am physically fit for the Event or the tasks required for volunteers ; (B) I assume all risk of injury or accident (including death); (C) I promise not to sue Alticor Inc., Fifth Third Bank, Spectrum Health Services, Riverbank Events and Media, LLC, or USA Track & Field, including their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, directors, officers, agents, officials, volunteers, consultants, or sponsors (collectively, the “Event Sponsors”), and I release and expressly waive any claim or demand that may arise for any loss, injury (including death), or damage to person or property as a result of my participation in or volunteering for the Event, unless the loss, injury, or damage was caused by the negligence of the Event Sponsors; (D) I promise and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Event Sponsors from any claims or demands that may arise for any loss, injury (including death), or damage to person or property as a result of my participation in or volunteering for the Event; (E) I authorize the Event Sponsors to use any photographs, personal narratives, interviews, and audio and video recordings of my participation in the Event for any purpose; I have read this Waiver and Release, understand what it says, and freely and voluntarily sign it.
