How can I make changes, switch events transfer or defer?

How do I switch events (i.e. 25K to 10K, etc.)?

  • Log into your RunSignUp account
  • In your profile, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “my registered races”
  • Find your RBR registration then select “manage”
  • In the menu you’ll be able to select from the menu “transfer event”  and then just follow thru the process.

After May 4, transfer events in-person on Friday, May 11 at the Amway Sports and Fitness Expo between 11am and 8pm.  Pick up your registered event bib and head to “Solutions/Race Changes”

Can I defer my registration to next year?
Yes, online through Friday, May 10

  • Log into your RunSignUp account
  • In your profile, scroll to the bottom of the screen and you’ll find “my registered races”
  • You’ll see your RBR registration.  Select “manage”

  • Defer your registration to next year ($20 for 25K / $10 for 10K & 5K) until 11:59pm on Saturday, May 11

How do I claim my deferred registration?
  • If you do not see your race registration in your “my registered races”.   You may need to complete the claiming process from a deferred registration from the previous year.    Please click on this link to “Find a Participant” – enter your name and then click on the “is this you” to begin the claiming process.
  •  When 2019 registration opens, your registration will be added to the system and a confirmation message will be sent.   You will need to “claim” your registration by click on the  “Find a Participant“.  Then click “is this you” to begin the “claim” process

Can I get a refund or transfer/gift my bib to a friend/family?
  • All events are non refundable
  • Transfer or gift your registration to someone else can be done online until 11:59pm on Friday, May 4, 2018
  • Switch to another event (i.e. currently registered for the 25K but would like to run the 10K) can be completed until 11:59pm on Friday, May 5 or in-person at Event Check-in at DeVos Place on Friday, May 11 between 11a and 8p or Saturday, May 12 at the “Solutions” area
  • Defer your registration to next year ($20 for 25K / $10 for 10K & 5K) until 11:59pm on Saturday, May 12
  • All these changes can be done online through your RunSignUp account by the deadlines stated above

I noticed a mistake in my registration confirmation, how do I fix it?
  • Go to RunSignUp and click on the Find a Participant tab then enter your name – under your name click on the More Details tab where you will use your password to access your account.  Then find the appropriate blue tab and click on it and make your changes.
  • Last day to to make changes online is Friday, May 3 at 11:59p EDT.
  • After that date, pick up your participant bib and t-shirt and let us know at the “Solutions/Race Changes” area so your results are posted correctly

I’d like to change my shirt size/upgrade to Saucony Tech Shirt – quantities are limited
  • Log into your RunSignUp account
  • Go to your “Profile”
  • Scroll to “My Registered Races” menu at bottom of page
  • Find your Fifth Third River Bank Run registration; then click “Manage”
  • Select “Giveaway” from the menu and modify your shirt size/style

I won’t be able to participate, can I still pick up my t-shirt?
  • YES! Please stop by and pick up your t-shirt and participant bib during Event Check in/Late Registration held during the Sports & Fitness Expo n DeVos Place on Friday, May 10 from 11a-8p or Saturday, May 11 beginning at 6a.
  • If you can’t make it Event Weekend, please email for your shirt to be mailed to you.
