AMWAY RIVER BANK RUN TRADITION CONTINUES AS VIRTUAL RACE

Virtual Race Participants invited to Drive-Thru Celebration on Oct. 24 between 10a - 2p at Millennium Park in Walker.

After careful consideration and consult with health professionals, including health partner Spectrum Health, Amway River Bank Run organizers have decided to transition the 2020 event to a virtual race. The safety of the runners, walkers, volunteers and supporters is at the center of this difficult decision. The social distancing required to prevent the spread of COVID-19 has forced the cancellation of many events nationwide, so the Amway River Bank Run is no exception.

All virtual race participants who upload their race times at Post Virtual Results are invited to participate in the celebration. Participants will receive a 2020 Amway River Bank Run shirt, finisher’s medal and other swag. There will even be opportunities for participants to have their photo taken with a special Amway River Bank Run backdrop while remaining in their vehicle.


Consider the Virtual Race and experience the Drive Thru Event on October 24

  • With all the training you have done this year - reward yourself with receiving 2020 River Bank Run Swag - that includes
    • 2020 Race Shirt
    • 2020 Finisher Medal
    • River Bank Run Gaitor Swag
    • Post-Race Refreshments provided by Amway, Ice Mountain Water and Meijer
    • 20% off discount coupon for 2021 (This will be mailed out directly to 2020 Virtual participants when 2021 registration opens)
  • T-shirts and medals will be mailed to virtual participants who can't experience the Drive Thru Event on October 24
  • In addition - because 2020 has been a year we have never experienced in the past -  age group awards will be presented to Virtual participants - this is your opportunity to possibly place in your age group.  Remember everything is based on the honor system and awards will be mailed after final virtual results are received.

  • Login into your RunSignUp account
  • In your profile, scroll to the bottom of the screen and you’ll find “my registered races”
  • You’ll see your RBR registration.  Select “manage”
  • Select from the menu “transfer" and then follow thru the process

Defer to Saturday, May 8, 2021

  • Log into your RunSignUp account
  • In your profile, scroll to the bottom of the screen and you’ll find “my registered races”
  • You’ll see your RBR registration.  Select “manage”
  • Select from the menu “defer registration”  and then follow thru the process
  • Defer your registration to Nay 8, 2021 (no fee)

I deferred to 2021 but want to participate in a Virtual Race in 2020


Already Deferred?

  • If you paid a small fee since the postponement (announced March 20th) you will receive a refund - watch for a confirmation email.
  • If you want to re-activate your registration and go virtual, email runinfo@amwayriverbankrun.com

Gazelle Girl Double Down

  • If you participated in the Gazelle Girl Virtual Run in April and the RBR Virtual Run your DD medal will be in your swag package

TripleFeat

  • If you participated in the CRIM, Capital City River Run and  the RBR Virtual Run your Triple Feat medal will be in your swag package
